I am Mihai and I have discovered some years ago my passion for sharing the history of Romania and taking foreign tourists to visit those special parts of Romania that even Prince Charles of Wales considered a dream come true, a still living example of a harmonious connection between man and Mother Nature, a connection that, before destroying its traditions in the mad race to modernity, succeeded to maintain itself preserved even to this day.
Being specialized on private tours in Romania, I have discovered at almost all the tourists that I have travelled with in Romania an interest for the story of communism. Of course, most of the foreign tourists hear first about Dracula and his castle when thinking of Romania, but when they hear that it is mostly a legend they start to lose their interest. In that case, the mythos regarding the communist regime in Romania helps them understand what this political system really meant in Romania or even in the whole of the Iron Curtain, not so long ago.
