About the Tour

The aim of the project “The Tour of Communism” is to offer to the tourists a walking guided tour that will take them through all of the major aspects regarding life under communist rule in Romania. Officially starting in 1948 and up to 1989, the Communism era was marked by the dictator Nicolae Ceausescu who ruled Romania for most of this period (1965-1989).

“The Tour of Communism” project is intended to be a 3h walking tour. Mihai has gathered his experience on the private tours so the Tour of Communism is intended to offer information to a limit of 15 persons to make the experience authentic and interesting too. Hot or freezing weather, we aim to offer the tour based on your request and we can be flexible regarding the hour based on your availability too.
